  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cornmeal. Add vegetable oil and water, mix until a dough forms.
  • Press the dough into a greased deep-dish pizza pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides.
  • In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
