Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornmeal
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 5 tbsp water
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cornmeal. Add vegetable oil and water, mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a greased deep-dish pizza pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides.
- In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough. Top with cooked sausage, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
